Thank you for visiting my website. First of all, I am a woman, in case you were wondering. With a name like Bishop, a lot of people do.

My art is best described as whimsical. Bright color and a fanciful, fun sense of wonder are present throughout. My best-known pieces are my petite, painted alphabet letters. Children and adults enjoy finding their initials, names, or just their favorite letter. I strive to create a modern twist on traditional alphabet images. These 4" by 4" paintings have been featured in 7x7 magazine, dailycandy.com, and eat.shop.San Francisco.

Working with people to design custom letters is one of my favorite things. I enjoy the challenge of creating a completely unique work of art. In the past I have painted letters in Spanish and Hebrew, as well as an entire name with a Hawaiian theme (r is for rainbow, d is for dolphin, etc.) All I need is a few areas of interest (space, animals, under the sea, Paris, for example) to create completely personalized paintings.

Birds are one of my biggest inspirations. I enjoy learning more about them, watching them in the wild, and then creating unique, colorful, and quirky images.
